Boost baby's bond and cognitive growth with interactive activities and avoid screen time.
Do you want to spend quality time with your baby but feel like you always end up staring at TV screens? Well, there are many fun activities you can do with your children, that don't involve phones, TVs or tablets. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
1. Read a book:
Pick out a colorful picture book or a favorite story and read it to your baby. Not only will it build a bond but it will also help develop language and cognitive skills.
2. Go for a walk:
This is my favorite. I walk about 3 miles a day, take your baby on a stroll around the neighborhood, point out different things along the way and interact with your surroundings.
3. Play games:
Game never get old
4. Sing songs:
Singing silly songs or lullabies is a great way to soothe your baby and help develop their sense of hearing.
5. Play with toys:
So many toys out in the world now you can play with.
6. Take a bath together:
Bath time can be fun and interactive with splashing, bubbles, and toys in a large tub.
7. Create art:
Let your baby explore different colors and textures with finger painting or even edible paint with pudding!
By replacing screen time with these activities, you'll not only have a stronger bond with your baby but you'll also be aiding in their overall development. So, put down the screens and start playing with babies.
